







In octavo, parchment binding, spine reinforced with old cardboard, 300 p, title page decorated with an architectural piece, with the coat of arms of the Jesuits. Small landscape with colophon. All pages are decorated with a frame. Very numerous geometric illustrations. Second part of Euclid’s Fifteen Books of Geometry accompanied by Clavio’s comments. This Jesuit German humanist mathematician was born in Bamberga in 1537 and died in Rome in 1612. He taught at the College of Rome. Thomas-Stanford, no. 19.
