Finely bound, by Ramage of London, in beautiful early twentieth century full red crushed morocco, extra gilt. The spine with raised bands, ruled in gilt. Compartments fully ruled, decorated with start and hearts and lettered in gilt. Elaborate star and heart design to both boards, within a highly decorative border roll. Board edge corners ruled in gilt. Inner dentelles fully decorated in gilt with stars and hearts and floral borders, surrounding white Moire silk centre pieces. Silk endpapers. All edges gilt. A stunning and exceptional example of a beautiful leather binding by one of the master binder of the late 19th and early 20th century.
