Magnificent encyclopedia of the French uniform from 1690 to 1894, with very detailed descriptions of the cuts, manner of wearing, fabrics to use… of all the troops who served France. 

5 volumes bound in-4°, red shagreen, ribbed spine, fleurons in the compartments, title, reinforced corners. Very good condition, very beautiful copy complete with all the color plates (+ an explanatory black and white plate). Two slightly dislodged notebooks in volume IV
