
Fine old hand coloured aquatint engraving of Plain utensils and arms.
In center a wonderful painted Buffalo robe. Mató-Topé Chief of the Mandan painted the basle with a Cheyenne Chief on this skin. (This original robe is to see at the collections of the Linden Museum, Stuttgart, Germany). The robe is surrounded by arms and utensils for an Indian hunter.
